To take advantage of our reduced fee, you must bring your most recent provincial or federal notice of assessment. We accept notices of assessment of the previous year up until June 30. Should you not have a valid notice of assessment, our regular fees shall apply until you provide us with a valid notice of assessment.
In preparation for the meeting, please bring with you a cheque specimen or a valid credit card. You will be required to sign a Pre-authorized Payment Agreement that will allow us to collect payments on a weekly basis via debit or credit card for the invoices issued. We do not issue invoices immediately after a meeting in order to remain efficient and to maintain our fees as low as possible. Each of our branches issue weekly invoices. Therefore, we require that you sign a Pre-authorized Payment Agreement for weekly payments even if it is only for a consultation. In any case, no amount exceeding the amount indicated on your invoice or invoices will be collected.
Please bring all documentation relevant to your case that you have in your possession.
We do not accept legal aid mandates. Furthermore, we do not accept mandates regarding tax law, immigration, SAAQ related cases, applications for a pardon and, generally speaking, but with the exception of family law, any matter under federal law.
In any case, we may contact you prior to the meeting, if necessary, to schedule another meeting or to obtain from you further information on your case or on the hearing dates you indicated on your form.
